Code of Conduct

 

 

1. Purpose

 

Quest Logic Solutions (“QLS”) is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for all students, instructors, mentors, and community members. This Student Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behavior expected throughout the program, including live classes, Slack channels, labs, communication platforms, and all QLS-related activities.

 

Enrollment in any QLS program signifies agreement to comply with this Code of Conduct.

2. Professional Behavior & Respect

 

Students are expected to:

 

  • Treat instructors, staff, and peers with respect at all times

  • Communicate professionally in Slack, email, meetings, and group sessions

  • Participate in discussions and group activities in a constructive, supportive manner

  • Maintain a positive learning environment free from harassment, discrimination, or hostility

 

Not tolerated under any circumstances:

 

  • Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or disrespect

  • Hate speech, discriminatory comments, or offensive language

  • Inappropriate or disruptive behavior during live classes or Slack discussions

 

QLS reserves the right to remove students who violate community safety standards.

3. Attendance, Participation & Engagement

 

To ensure progress and maximum value from the program, students are expected to:

 

  • Attend scheduled live virtual classes, or watch required replays if absent

  • Complete assignments, labs, tickets, and projects on time

  • Actively participate in Slack discussions, mentorship sessions, and team scenarios

  • Ask for help when needed and remain engaged in the learning process

 

Excessive absences or lack of participation may affect progress, support eligibility, or continued enrollment.

4. Academic Integrity & Honest Work

 

Students must uphold honesty and integrity in all work submitted.

 

Prohibited actions include:

 

  • Plagiarism or submitting work that is not the student’s own

  • Sharing lab answers, assignments, passwords, or restricted content

  • Using unauthorized sources to complete assessments

  • Misrepresenting skills, experience, or progress

 

Violations may result in corrective action or removal from the program.

5. Responsible Use of Systems & Technology

 

Students receive access to secure learning systems, servers, and cloud environments. Students must:

 

  • Use QLS systems solely for educational purposes

  • Follow all cybersecurity, data protection, and safe-use guidelines

  • Not attempt to break, damage, or misuse lab environments

  • Not engage in unauthorized hacking, scanning, or exploitation

  • Not share VPN access, login credentials, or internal materials with non-students

 

Any misuse of virtual environments or security tools will result in immediate removal.

6. Confidentiality & Data Protection

 

During the program, students may access:

 

  • Lab systems

  • Documentation

  • Project files

  • Internal processes

  • Community conversations

 

Students must:

 

  • Keep all QLS materials private and confidential

  • Not publish, screenshot, record, or distribute course content

  • Not share Slack conversations without permission

  • Not publish training materials online or with competitors

 

All materials remain the intellectual property of Quest Logic Solutions.

 

 

7. Communication Standards

 

All communication must be:

 

  • Professional

  • Respectful

  • Appropriate

  • Aligned with a positive learning environment

 

Students must not:

 

  • Spam channels or instructors

  • Use offensive or inappropriate language

  • Promote unrelated products, services, or solicitations

  • Engage in conflicts or hostile debates
     

 

 

8. Zero-Tolerance Policy

 

QLS maintains zero tolerance for:

 

  • Harassment

  • Hate speech

  • Threatening behavior

  • Illegal activities

  • System abuse

  • Academic dishonesty

 

Immediate dismissal may occur without refund where violations are severe.

 

 

9. Collaboration & Group Work

 

Students are encouraged to collaborate, but must:

 

  • Contribute fairly to group activities

  • Respect others’ ideas

  • Communicate openly and professionally

  • Avoid dominating or disrupting team spaces

 

Collaboration should enhance, not replace, independent learning.

10. Attendance of Live Instruction

 

Students must:

 

  • Attend sessions in a distraction-free environment where possible

  • Keep microphones muted unless speaking

  • Avoid disruptive background noise

  • Use video when required by instructors

  • Arrive on time and stay for the full session unless urgent circumstances arise

 

Repeated disruptive behavior may affect ongoing enrollment.

11. Payment, Program Standing, & Access

 

Students must remain in good financial standing to maintain access to:

 

  • Live sessions

  • Servers and lab environments

  • Slack

  • Coaching and career support

  • Certificates

 

Failure to make scheduled payments may result in temporary or permanent access suspension.
 

 

 

12. Consequences for Violations

 

Depending on severity, actions may include:

 

  • Verbal or written warning

  • Temporary suspension from labs or Slack

  • Removal from certain features of the program

  • Permanent dismissal without refund

  • Termination of platform access

  • Reporting of illegal activity when necessary

 

QLS reserves the right to act in the best interest of student safety and program integrity.
 

 

 

13. Student Responsibilities

 

All students must:

 

  • Take ownership of their learning journey

  • Ask questions and request support when needed

  • Stay proactive and committed to personal career goals

  • Respect the experience and guidance of QLS staff and mentors

  • Uphold a professional attitude reflective of real IT work environments
     

 

 

14. Agreement

 

By enrolling in any Quest Logic Solutions program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Student Code of Conduct and all associated policies.
